From the soaring cost of living to ever-lengthening NHS waiting lists, the Government certainly has its hands full at the moment – even without the rumbling discontent about PartyGate in the background.

And on top of all those day-to-day issues, Boris Johnson has set himself the daunting task of reconfiguring Britain’s political economy with the recently released Levelling Up White Paper – all 330 pages of it.

To talk us through all these issues and some of our favourite stories of the last week, we welcomed one of the stars of the centre-right policy firmament, The Spectator’s Economics Editor, Kate Andrews.
